Born and raised in South Carolina, the Southern way of life has always been a big influence on my life. I have always prided myself on being a great listener, which I attribute back to those long afternoons on the front porch, listening to my older family members reminisce about the "good ol' days." I like to keep life simple, too, despite its inherent complexity. An Anthropology professor once told me that I have the special ability to see the big picture in life, something that has proven instrumental for both my personal and professional life. When faced with a crisis, working on an assignment, or heading a project, instead of getting lost in the clutter, I try to find a "method to the madness" and do whatever necessary to come out on top.

 

When not studying or working, one can be find me baking, planning the vacations of my dreams, writing, enjoying the company of loved ones (dogs included), browsing online blogs, or catering to my inner television and movie junkie.
